We accept all common household recyclables – and it's always free.
We Take It All
If it's recyclable, Manny's Recycling will accept it. No sorting required – bring everything together and we'll handle the rest. Here are the most common items people drop off:
- Paper – newspapers, magazines, office paper, junk mail
- Cardboard – boxes, cartons, egg cartons, toilet paper rolls
- Glass bottles and jars – clear, green, and brown
- Aluminium cans – drink cans, food tins
- Tin and steel cans – soup tins, pet food cans
- Aluminium foil and trays – clean only
- Plastic bottles – all types, lids on or off
- Plastic containers – takeaway containers, yogurt pots
- Plastic bags – shopping bags, bread bags, produce bags
- Electronics – phones, laptops, cables, chargers
- Batteries – household, lithium, car batteries
- Whiteware – fridges, washing machines, microwaves
- Scrap metal – tools, pipes, wire, car parts
- Textiles – clothing, shoes, linen, fabric offcuts
- Green waste – branches, leaves, grass clippings
How to Prepare Your Recycling
A little preparation goes a long way. Follow these simple steps to make the process smooth for everyone:
- Rinse containers – give bottles, cans, and food containers a quick rinse to remove residue.
- Remove lids – take lids off bottles and jars (but bring the lids too – they're recyclable).
- Flatten cardboard – break down boxes so they take up less space.
- No need to sort – we sort it all for you. Just bring everything together.
- Bag small items – put batteries, small plastics, and loose items in a bag so they don't get lost.
